The Assises de la Cybersécurité conference took place in Monaco from October 9 to 12, 2024, attracting more than 3,300 participants and 180 partner organizations, including innovative start-ups and leading cybersecurity enterprises.

The event was opened by Minister of State Didier Guillaume, who emphasized the importance of collective action in combating the rising threat of cyberattacks.

Key topics included the growing frequency of ransomware attacks and the emergence of new cybercriminal networks. Monaco reaffirmed its commitment to cybersecurity through updated legislation aimed at safeguarding critical infrastructure and aligning its regulatory frameworks with French and European standards.

At the same time, the Monégasque government announced the second phase of its “Blue Fund Monaco” initiative, designed to accelerate digital transformation particularly in the healthcare sector and strengthen international cooperation against cybercrime.
